BMC at BP

After the last exam paper in my uni life on 2nd of may, we straight away went for relaxation and had something nice to consume. Exhausted after two papers in one day. Am now missing my uni life, missing my friends and coursemates, missing redang, missing everything nice in my uni life. Friends, take care.

This, we were taking at bp(bangunan peperiksaan), as a memory of my exam life for three years.

So excited~

Today, it's a memorable day for me. Even the rain falls to celebrate with me besides tempering for the damn hot weather. I have worked hard for two sem, about one year time, suspended my one month long holiday, 8 credit hours final year project, also known as thesis, has finally come out in a blue-ish cover book. I'm so so so so so so so....X100000000000 excited and happy. Unexplainable and indescribable joy and delight. Whenever i look at the blue book or think about it, i would whisper to myself, "woohoo, finally done." and giggling to myself; in the room, in the car, while walking, and at Oldtown too. And su hwa said, "tonight you need not have to sleep, and even you slept you would laugh out loudly in the midle of the night." Maybe it could happen. Who knows? Caution to my roomate, don't get too frighten about my action(if it happens) during the night. And i felt so so so tired, cos' i slept at 5 in the morning the day before and the day after i waked up early in the morning. One advice to all, don't sleep "early" and wake up early too for continuous days. Or maybe i'm too old to have such habit already. *sigh while shake head-ing*

Ok, i think i should stop and go to sleep gao gao tonight.

Excited!!!

Actually all of us don't know anything including the content and song until last friday, we finally watch it all in the mv. Nearly pengsan. Anyway good job, David. It's such a sweet, funny and memorable thing happened during our Uni life. Cheers and enjoy~

A brand new sem

New semester of my hope-to-be final year. In the beginning, everything goes not really good, Prof. suddenly said cannot change time, thesis analysing short of time, poor laptop has to format, get sick and blah blah blah... but hopefully things start getting better now. At least, Prof. helps us to solve the time table and he decide to sacrifice his lunch time to give lecture. So touched. *bak sai lau* If not, for sure i've to extend one more semester, and i will cry out loudly that time.

This semester, i continue my french study to level II. And Shee Ying wants me to ask this question here, what is the gender of milk? Guess guess guess....

Indian classical dance

This post i have delayed it for so long, it's about my ko-k, indian classical dance. It's very fun to attend the class, and learn something different which is out of our academy. Although we have learned not much, but most of us really enjoy the moment well. Few days before the Ko-K day, we had extended the time for our practice from Monday night 10 something, Tuesday night 11 something 'till Wednesday night 12 o'clock. So on Thursday noon, we had to set up everything including our costume, make-up, headgear, accessories before we were heading to the stage. So, let's the photos do the talking:

Before the make-up

After the make-up, dressed up and the accessories, i turned into an indian dancer. The eye liner was thick and ugly and looked so artificial. I looked so fierce. Just because we were rushing out of time, the guy had to be fast to finish up about 30+ performers' eye liner. Do you notice the foundation on my face, suddenly i looked tan. Because the foundation which is suitable for darker skin.

Actually there are seven types of indian classical dance, but we just performed five types, there were Kuchipudi, Kathak, Mohiniaattam, Bharatanatyam and Odissi. The other two are Kathakali and Manipuri. We were divided into five groups and each group performed each type in a medley which consisted of five different music. First to come was Kuchipudi.

Secondly, Kathak.

Followed by Mohiniaattam. We looked so royal from top to toe.

Next was Bharatanatyam.

Then we had Odissi.

Finale with our poses of the dance. We had to squeeze so that all of us can get into the lens.

Even kingston also crave for indian dance, see he becomes an indian with a red dot(what is that called? Anyone wish to tell me?) on his forehead and he is ready to perform.

blue mood?

These photos have taken quite a time ago, where our organiser, wei mee has planned it for the whole biohealth(our batch only) and all of us must wear blue shirt. Here, i want to specially thank to wei mee who lend me her shirt. Actually i 'm not that happy with those guys, but luckily i still did the right choice to use wei mee's camera finally. I just dislike people who have something and show it off, just like the half-fulled coins in the piggy bank. Don't ever step my or my friend's tail, i won't let it be like this. Don't play play with me oh.

Our first venue was DK Teratai. Is this so called good camera? Please don't put my beloved canon in shame. I'm wondered is the misuse of mode or the mis-care of camera?
This was taken by wei mee's camera. Better still, right?

Spot the difference?

Next, we moved to ISB garden and luckily the rain stopped. TGI stopped. By "good camera".

This was taken by sue ping's nikon. Yet, better still.
Everyone is so cool. Do you spot me?
David is directed the position to stand while i'm so sensitive to the lens and pose for wei mee.
The gang in blue
I'm huge enough to cover the two girls..... this is so called huge sexy back. lol
We are at must-shoot sign whenever you visit UM, the sign of UM 2008
The 100 years old sign
Snap shot. Even my canon is better still. Although mine is more later, yet i wonder why?
After the photo session, camwhoring our gang but just left out david and hui xuan. We are all from the BMC members, this name is given by wei mee. That is our secret. *giggle*

What kind of pose is this? Ooo, kung fu la. *squeezed*
The last photo before the card is full. Where am i? I'm the one who capturing this photo lo. Once again, nice photo with a real good camera. Maybe good photographer? *evil grin* So, please don't say your camera is better than wei mee's before you haven't check it out.

Finally, the most busiest week in this semester had over. Thank god it's over. Although my study week is started, but i still have to busy with my thesis lab. And the most saddest thing is the rats we bought from the pet shop which we had so susah payah picked the male rats but it's all ended up female. How am i going to write my thesis where my title is about the testicle while i didn't get any result of it. Anyone can help me? Where can i get male rat? I want baby and adult rats as well. I want Sprague dawley. Anyone please? *sob sob*

nightmare of thesis

This afternoon, i went back to UM to do my thesis's lab, where we have to inject those rats with nicotine treatment. We weighed the rats, and calculated the volume that we needed to be injected to the rat according to their weight. So i took a syringe and pumped the nicotine into the syringe and started the injection. Just after it, so i quickly took up the cap and covered the syringe needle tip back cos' it is dangerous to let the needle to be exposed. When i pushed the cap back, the needle bended and poke through it and straight away punctured my hand. I thought it would be alright as i wore double pieces of hand gloves. So i took out the gloves to check for safety. It was a tiny little hole on my ring finger, and i was still thinking it would be ok. Just a few seconds later, the wound started to bleed. *sigh* So i had to go to take injection at clinic but now i still not yet did it. Just sooner or later. Hope it would be fine. Long time i didn't take injection, a bit afraid of it.

The next thing that scared me was i discovered a snake on a corner of the roof of the animal house which we kept our rats and mices there. That creature was not small, i suddenly felt so afraid and gooseflesh too. I hate "cold-blooded" animals like snake, frog and so forth. And snake can sting. wtf. The animal house was a nightmare to me. I just wonder why i choose the title which have to deal with animals. Hope i can quickly finish it so that i no need to be there again. Wish me lucks~

I hate "road" rats...

I apologize for those disgusted photos, but this will be the last one ( i hope so). This past tuesday, we had to dissect rats for our practical, but this time it were rats which caught in the drains, in houses, markets, rubbish sites and so forth. We had to collect the ectoparasites and endoparasites as well for observation whether they bring disease or not. They were dirty, smelly, and gelinya. We nearly wanted to vomit although we had masked ourselves. The smell really boleh pengsan!

After doing it, i'm very blissful that my research is used experimental white rats, at least they look cleaner and not that smelly. Salute to my two coursemates who doing with those so called "road" rats.

trip to UKM for rat dissection

On the same day of the visit to mini farm, we had to rush to UKM to do our rat dissection at 2 in the noon which actually we were not wish to go. After finished the practical which ended at 1 noon, we quickly rushed back to our lab to take our needed tool, grabbed a sandwich from the cafe and drove the way to UKM. Letihnya....

Before we started our work,
shee ying tried to act cute

happy-go-lucky wei mee with her dissecting set

pretty huey chyi and wei mee again

me , holding a forcep on my hand actually

don't play play with this girl, or not she will pinch you with the forceps on her hand....*evil grin*

Let's the photos do the talking:

this were those followed-straightly-with-instruction's workpiece

this was do-according-situation's workpiece

what happen?

no eyes see.........
They just like tore off the clothes(skin and organs which beside the tray) of the rat while leaving the head(brain) and backbone(spinal cord).

finished lo, packing and preparing for dinner.... not sure was due to too much of energy being used up during dissection, or we ate too little for our lunch....

After the dissection at UKM, we decided to have kajang satay as our dinner, as wei mee hadn't have it before. Actually i was not familiar with the route from UKM to kajang, but after turning a big round, we still get ourselves there. But traffic jammed on the way because it was time for malays to buka puasa.

too hungry d..... my wai sek look had been captured.... -.-\\\ I think it looked like a roasted chicken, my roomate said it's rat. *sweat* What do you think?
