During Chinese New Year

Last year, didn't have any celebration cos' my grandpa passed away. This year, as usual visited to relatives' house. It was tiring cos' i had headache whenever i stepped out the house. Maybe due to the damn hot weather during CNY. And this year, i'd met up with my secondary schoolmates while visited to si han's house.

The girls

What to do when visiting? Ahha, gambling la. Poker or Mahjong or both? Well, i was there just watched them mahjong-ing. Stole some gang hu(skills).

We were chit-chatting and playing with Candace, si han's niece. She is cute, active and smart girl.

Not to forget, my cute niece, Alicia. She smiled at me when i wanted to take photo although she was eating. And she is only 3 years++, but she likes to eat by herself(she doesn't like the elder feed her). Smart girl.

And her brother, Isaac. Aiyo, he was so happy when we visited to aunt's house. Walk here and there, and speaking the baby's language which we did not understand. But we knew he was very excited.

Back to KL, visited to wei mee's house with coursemates, and had steamboat at her house too. We played killer, chit-chat and making horror video as well. *sweat* And we wore the socks that wei mee bought for us and took lots of photos lo.

Met up with chia and wen at Midvalley. Had lunch, chit-chat and went to watch Bride Wars. And shopping lo, i'd overspent by adding 2 dresses and a skirt into my closet. Now, i've to save cost by forcing myself to use RM7 per day. *sigh*

Finally get myself to Italiannies for the brand new spaghetti in bowls which i wish to try it for so long.

Italiannies, here i come.....

Bear bear is also here to say hi~
bearIMG_3369

When we just have our seat, the waiter serves us the free breads and he pours a plate full of olive oil and some vinegar to dip with the breads. Wow~, i never know that olive oil and this special-made vinegar are a great combination with bread.

So, i have an iced cafe latte and my boss has his iced cafe mocha. We ordered a classic pizza, a combo spaghetti which i wish to taste it, and cappucino pie as our dessert.

We have chosen lasagna, pomodoro, salmon and shrimp as the four flavours of our spaghetti. I love the bowl with angel hair and shrimp. Well, the shrimp is so juicy and fresh. Yum yum. That salmon's bowl is some sort like salad, so it's served cool, and the shell shape pasta is a bit hard. The lasagna is too salty for me.
spaghettiIMG_3382

Huge pieces of pizza which can serve up to 4 persons. Overall, it's nice. But we are too full till' we have to take away the leftover. Don't waste food ma, especially such delicious food. *grin*

Another huge dish, our dessert---> Cappucino pie. This is delicious. Actually there are ice-cream with plate full of chocolate. Simply sweet and yummy.

Our piece of art work, look silly? Love the environment, food and people which is the matter that impress me, they are so friendly. I still remembered the scene that the lady who does not write down anything while we ordered but she can remember what we have ordered and repeats our order without any error. *salute* And we have spent about 2 hours for the lunch, just because everything is huge here, we need time to digest so that we can add in the next dish into our stomach.

Camwhore~

Jogoya, here i come~

Finally, i have the chance to dine in at Jogoya which located at Starhill Gallery. Thank you for bringing me there. That is one of my wishlist since i heard the name for so long.

My beloved food and beloved Canon (seems like advertising for Canon)
Cheers~
prawn with brocoli
And Jogoya is celebrating their 3rd anniversery and having the 50% off promotion for ladies (weekdays only) from 13th Oct to 19th Dec. Although it was a Monday, but i didn't get the 50% off not because i'm not a lady (truly i'm a 100% lady, k...), just because it was Deepavali public holiday. What a waste~ *_*

I found that the symbol of Jogoya looked a bit similar with Ayumi's icon, what do you think? Spot the promotion there?
Specially thank to ben who treat me there~ (he forced me to upload his photo here... *~*)
Hehe, kidding la :p...

Actually i didn't take much photos for the food although there was a big variety of food choice, and i'd no idea what to eat. But overall, the food was ok. I ate not much, so not worth for it. Even though my favourite sashimi i didn't eat much too, maybe afraid of stomach ache cos' these few days i was not feeling well. Well, Haagen Dazs green tea ice-cream, c'est tout ce que j'aime.

Acting cool, don't play play with me~
Camwhore with my beloved Canon. Again, sounds like advertising for it. *faint*

my baby dear's birthday

Finally it's free for my blog updating. (Walaoe, using study week to blog rather than study. *sweat*) So, i treat my dear roomate, see leng for a meal to celebrate her birthday. So i brought her to Amuleto at Mid Valley for dinner.

The design, decoration and the lighting are good, seems to be a good environment to dine in. They utilize the mirror effect to let the whole place looks spacious. That is the bar with variety of alcohols.
snapshot

Rosti with mushroom. Actually it's a onion patty with mushroon topping and it tastes good.

Karen always with her absolute expressional pose in the front of everyone for her food (forgot what is it).
B'day girl with her Amuleto's punch mocktail
Her spaghetti carbonara

dear roomie with her chocolate mint smoothies
and her Antartica salmon spaghetti (again, forgot the correct name of it) . A nice performed art of dish with colours of whatever that edible with a appetizing sauce.
Chix cordon bleu...and i guess this is a french dish because with the word bleu which means blue. Finally my french is usable too. *grin* The rod shape is a chicken meat with cheese in the middle of the rod. The meat is juicy and soft, unlike the others where the chicken meat usually is hard. And my favourite french fries, finger licking good.
Last but not least, with the birthday girl, see leng baby...muakz~

cameron highland trip

When one talks about Cameron Highland, what will you think of? Besides cooling weather at the highland, it'll be

Vegetables

Flowers
Tea plantation
Also, strawberries....

We can see a lot of strawberry's product there like the fruit, the juice, the ice-cream, the ice lolly, the cake, the candy, the balloon, the strawberry-designed bag and toy and so forth. Everything here are all about strawberry. For sure, i don't think the ingredient in those food are artificial. You can really taste the dense-packed strawberries in every bite just because they yield strawberries.

the chocolate
the desserts
the strudel
Where you can sing along with, mama mia, how can i resist it? But i didn't take it cos' i felt dizzy with the curving road and i had no appetite at all.... what a waste *sigh*

I'm so happy that finally i had get to the tea plantation. Although the along way to the plantation was so narrow which just allowed one vehicle passed by, my papa felt so stressed when driving on the way, the road was curving that you couldn't see any opposite vehicle. Yet when the moment you reached there, it was so refreshing and the whole hill was covered with the greenish tea plant that had made up the beautiful scenery, it worthed the journey. There was a tea centre where you could have a tea break there, visited to the tea-manufacturing factory, the shop which sold the products and so forth. For sure, there would be selling all sorts of BOH teas and some refreshments like cakes, sandwiches, pies, cookies and so forth.

have your tea with refreshing air and wonderful view

camwhored with the tea plant, it was hot and sunny
I was surrounded by tea leaves
Besides that, we went to the rose farm where they planted all kinds of roses, cactus and some other flowers too. Maybe due to the weather, the flowers flourished richly. See, this hibiscus was bigger than my fist. The combination of the petals' colour was so nice.
Roses are red and violets are blue~
Not to forget about my bear bear, he was there too....*grin*
It was so hard-won to have a vacation with family. I really miss the moment.
