the incident happened at penang, end of 2004

This was the nightmare of mine when it happened at penang, although i was at home, watching & listening to the news. For the past few days/weeks, the newspaper kept reporting on the seeking of the people lost due to the incident. I still remembered that it was 26th of Dec, the day after Christmas, was a holiday. Regarding to the new of the families went to Batu Ferringhi seaside to picnic and the heartless tsunami brought the family members away to nowhere. :(

The incident happened somehow haunted me from going to seaside. Looking at the sea, i felt unease. But time will dilute the memory. However, watching this video again reminds me about it. The wave is wild and fierce.

Earth Hour 2010, have you?

wonderful weekend

I cooked for my late lunch today, cos' i miss homie food so much, especially my mum's cooking, yum yum. Had a light and easy cooking, thrown everything into a pot of water. Well, i wanted to have some soup, at 1st i wanted to cook the bitter gourd soup and bitter gourd fried egg, but most of the bitter gourd sold in market were not nice. So, i ended up substituting it with peppermint leaves, whereby it could be as soup or fried with eggs as well. Anyhow, i didn't have it with fried eggs but had it with an egg in the soup.

Soup of the day. Ingredient: peppermint leaves, egg, japanese toufu, chicken meat, xi dao fishballs, water & salt. It was nice, not too salty nor tasteless. The soup was tasty with the chicken meat and fishballs. And the peppermint savour was great as well. Overall was alright. Sound like writing a food blog. XP Someone is dripping saliva if he could see this, cos' he claimed that i never cook for him. Perhaps, have i? *shrugging shoulder*


By the way, i got a digital camera from the lucky draw of my company's dinner last night. Saturday night fever was the theme. Will collect it on Monday. Although i'm planning to get a SLR soon, yet i'm still very happy with it. Was one of the 10 grand prizes. Yeah~

Thinking of going for a jog, yet it rained. Anyhow, it was a wonderful weekend.

It's very difficult to change one's character, do not think of changing one's character as if it's not that easy. Since it's so hard to do so, to make things easier, why don't you change your ownself rather than the others.

Since we can live a happy life why should we choose to live a sad one?

When things are not in our control, why are we still worrying so much? It'll be making ourselves into tans of troubles as if we keep on worrying. Let it go since we still can't settle it, make life easier for that while. It doesn't mean that things are left not settle, but to settle when solution is up to the point.

Learn from the training session, just want to share to you all. Life is full of complexity, but you have a choice to live a happy life.

Here i come to update something... Well have already being through a week long working life... I'm the most free in the department i think while everyone is so busy keep typing; as what i can hear in the office is the keyboard hitting and mouse scrolling sound. And i was bored till' die. Everyday keep studying, studying and studying... cos' i'm new, so what i should do before going to start the job, i need training and knowledge about it... As i was too free, i started to think "how am i going to decorate my desk... what should i add to it... things to buy...", and so forth. And somehow, i start to wonder am i choosing the right job? Is the job i want it to be? Well, it's still early to say anything yet, i should have a try first, right? Never try it, i will never know what is the ending. Somehow working in a big office with lots of colleagues it's quite hard to mix around, i'm still not use to it. Okies, friends, this is how my one week long at the office.

Reading through my lovely supervisor's blog about she got the nerve illness since may (from her blog recorded). Feel sorry to hear so yet when we met her yesterday for a quick lunch (yet ended up for one and a half hour at KFC), she looked fine. Feel relief when seeing her, who is still so optimist, and is getting recovery (as she told us she was off medication yesterday). Like what she always says, when life gives you lemon, make lemonade. That's the way she is every now and then.

Back to her blog, well, she is so real in her post, unlike who she is. You will never feel that she is unreachable. And she is cute with her conversation and action too. And she reminded me about a song called que sera sera, which my mom taught me and i always sang to her when i was a kid. Tsunami is coming?

Recently i've received an email saying that on 22nd of July will have tsunami due to the sun eclipse. Even my parents also received the mail and asked me not to go to the beach during that month. I'm wondering is the mail a prank or truth? It has scared me, i don't want to see anyone to get hurt especially my love one.

Tsunami that happened on 26th of December 2004 which hit Penang had brought an impact to me. After the incident happened, i was afraid to go to beach. I still remembered that the day before the incident happened, my family and i went to beach at Pantai Bersih. Well, we went during the night. Lots of people were lingering at the beach. The sea was whole black. The wave seemed to be uncalm, neither high nor low tide. The wave flowed up and fell again every here and there. My mum used to have sixth sense where she felt unclamness, and said," It's time to back home." So we left the beach.

The next morning, while i was still slept soundly on my bed, there was shaking occurred. My parents felt like dizzy and thought they were having headache. I woke up late morning and i saw my friend's sms, saying that earthquake just occurred at about 9 something. Then news started to report about the earthquake and tsunami happened on TV late evening. Due to it was a weekend, lots of people went to beach and some ended up their life to the wave. Because of Malaysia never had tsunami before, and no one knew what was the big wave which coming from the sea, and the people run towards the sea curiously and had a look. Yet they ended to be wrapped up by the wave and pulled away from shore. Who would think it was a tsunami?

Some said before the tsunami occurred, the wave would be uneven. Something like the wave the night we seen. Yet no one would guess what will happen, right?

From that on, i was afraid to go beach. Looking at the sea, it made me thought of the incident that happened to human and caused lost of their love one. And i would not dare to park along the road at the gurney drive as the wave had flowed up to the shore during that time. Because of tsunami, the seaside like Gurney Drive, Batu Ferringhi, along the B'worth seaside become muddy.

Back to the previous email that have received, it's good to remind people to be careful, yet if it's a prank, it makes people feel anxieties, worries and unease. If it's truth, it would be another disaster soon to be happened to human. I have no idea how/where to verify the truth. Anyone?

Earth Hour 2009

Earth hour is an event which started from Sydney, Australia, the ever first city that held it on 31st of March, 2007. This is done to raise awareness of the public to save the earth from climate change. Disasters will occur due to climate change/global warming, ice berg starts melted, the sea level raises, flood everywhere, weather changes like even the weather of Bangkok was too cold and human could not deal with it and died (i read it from newspaper, correct me if i'm wrong).

Although we are just an ordinary citizen on the Earth, but we still can do something to help and save the planet we are living now. Sometimes, tiny little things will do the saving, like whenever you are not using the light or fan or air-con, just switch it off. Don't think that it's just a small amount of energy that has used up, if everyone of us let's say Malaysian has made it, that's about 25 millions, it's a huge figure. Well, there are still lots more ways to mention which i'll skip it.

Now, Malaysia is participating in the event this year. So let's do it together on 28th March 2009, 8.30pm, switch it off for an hour, we can make a different. You can log on to the official website, here for further info.

I guess when the time you are not around, i'll keep listening to it, and start singing along with the rhythm, "i am thinking of you, thinking of you, what you would do if...."


Like the MV so much. Nowadays, it was so coincident that i've read the book with the storyline about war and soldier, watched Valkyrie, also about war and soldier. And this MV too.War, had taken lots of lifes, had broken lots of happy family, had horrified the youngs and elders especially those bang-bom sound, had brought lots of diseases like Typhus, Plague and so forth.... What else? War had made life miserable. When i heard the word 'war', it will be equal to blood, death, disease.

I want world peace, forever.

Nearly had an accident

Today i nearly had an accident. Just because of 'kepo'. *kepo is a hokkien word which meant arousing interest because of inquisitive or curiosity*

Back to my incident, so it was happened at the flyover of Jalan Universiti, the flyover which near the KFC and Millenium court. Lots of accidents happened there, just because of the bad draining system. Whenever there is a rain, there will be flooded. Before the incident happened, i told putput that later there will be an accident happened at the flyover when we was passing by the flyover with pool of water after class. "That Wednesday i should snap some photos of the car accident and blog about it with the title 'this is M'sia' ", i told putput. Then a few minutes later after i reached home, putput called me and asked me whether i had gone out already or not. Well, i was going to Mid Valley with my roomate who had finished her final.

"Not yet. Will be going out soon."
"Remember to bring your camera along. Got a car had turned over at there."
"Ok."

My camera always be with me whenever i go out. Get into the car, and we started our drive to Mid Valley.

My incident was approaching. So we drove onto the flyover, and we saw the car accident. The car was turned over like what putput told me. The opposite road was jammed like hell. I used my eye squinted at that accident's car, wanted to know which production was the car. And i spotted, it was saga. The incident happened here, and i saw the kancil in front of me slow down with super duper low speed, like almost stopped down when approaching the opposite scene. Well, my car was moving downward at the flyover(although with lower speed yet faster than the damn kancil), and i had my emergency brake yet it was too late, and i rotated my steering wheel to the left lane while looking at the mirror, luckily that was no other vehicles on that lane. My intuition led me to punch my horn at that kancil while passing it, it were two malay guys in the car, and yet still looking at the accident opposite without wondering about why i pressed the horn. I was....... really speechless. He still did not know he nearly caused another accident. Damn it. WTF.

After the incident, i kept wondering if there was a car or motorcycle on the left lane, i might hit them. Or if my brake does not work, i might hit onto the kancil, and both of us get injured. My roomate did not get shocked on the spot while i did after kept refreshing the incident.

Please, i beg people (including myself also) who are driving, please don't look at the incident like accident, car broken down at roadside and so forth, please keep moving, please don't slow down and stare, you will not only cause traffic congestion, despite an accident too. Like what hitz.fm always tells the public, stop staring and keep moving on. Thank for your cooperation.

Despite, i went right after my test, alone.

And never ever take any extra money just in case you afraid not of enough. That so called extra money has turned into extra spending. *cry without tears* Now, i'm categorized as big spender.

My glory: a swimsuit, a pair of beach pant, a pair of shoes, a sling bag, three packet of baby milk bath, a bottle of hair shampoo, and my favourite---> nescafe, it's all. These costs me ....... *bleeding*

Girls like me just know to shop, sound so useless. That is our favourite hobby. *bo huat* I start to pity my future hubby. Hope haven't frighten guys out there. (I know i had already. *sigh* Cos' i don't see a sign also. Maybe sudah cabut.)

Hate crime

Nowadays, lots of crime happened at section 17, PJ. And those criminal with parang on their hand to rob. It's frightening. And they always aim students as target, cos' lots of students are staying here. And they like to aim girls as their easy target. When you walked along the road after coming back from school, they snatched your bag. When you reached home while unlocking the door, they followed you in to your house and grabbed everything valuable from your house. When you were not around, they broke into your house too. I'm so worried and afraid. I just can't think if the parang is coming down to our hand or whatsoever. When i get out of my car and walk back home, i look here and there. When there is motorcycle passes by, i will gaze at the motorcyclist. Sometimes, the motocyclists are uncles or aunties. Uncles and aunties, paiseh la, not wanting to suspect you, just to be alert only.

Everywhere is so dangerous besides PJ, who can protect us from those crime? Can we rely on our policemen? I wonder. Anyway, to policemen in my beloved country, hope that you all will take action, to protect the citizen. Don't tell me that you are afraid of those criminal. If not you, then who will protect the citizen? *crying without tears*

To criminal, i wonder why you all like to take student as target, you thought students are very rich? You thought the PTPTN is a large amount for us? Actually it is just tiny little shit. We save every single cost just to survive. Everything is increasing here, how are students going to survive with it? We, students have to pay back PTPTN with interest. And please, criminal, you have hands and legs, why don't you get a job? Don't tell me that economy is bad, no job at all. I still can see companies offer jobs through jobstreet, jobdb and so forth. Money is ain't easy to earn without effort. Don't go and steal/rob/snatch to get easy money, that's our(everyone who works/studies) money with sweat and toil.

Black Friday

Today is 13th, and it falls on Friday, oh no it's a Black Friday. Is Black Friday that bad? To me, it's just an ordinary day. But it seems like lots of bad things had happened on this day like battle, crisis, disaster and so forth. Well, Black Friday has other definition too, in US, it is the day after thankgiving, which can be considered shopping day to them. In some context, it means the last friday before Christmas. random update~

I wish to update my post and photos as well, but photoshop is now not in my laptop as i've formatted it. Sad..

Well, this is a random post. Once again, regarding my life recently. Since Chinese New Year is around the corner, last Thursday night went Mid Valley to shop as i was so bored at home. My roomate had hers while i was back with empty hand.

Then Friday down to the city center with Ben for Nokia 5800 Xpress Music Launch at Pavilion. Had seen quite a number of bloggers were here too. Well, since i don't have photoshop, so i can't upload the photos i had taken there. There were performances like hip hop dance, some knock on music with sink, kettle, gas tank, frying pan and so on by strikeforce from Singapore, song performances by Malaysian singers. Nokia 5800 Xpress Music is a touch screen phone, equip with 3.2 megapixel camera, WiFi connectivity. So cool, right? That means we can online anytime, anywhere as long as there is WiFi available. And this phone is RM1499 only. Make me feel like want to own it too.

Saturday, again went shopping with my dear roomate, See Leng. We went to 1U and this time both of us had shopped till' drop. Finally get some new clothes and a pair of heels which i had found for so long. Had prosperity burger as our dinner. And our legs were going to patah as we shopped for 6 hours++. Gengnya!

I know it's boring. All words to read. Hope i can get my photoshop back. *pray hard*

Nowadays, my house's streamyx run slow like tortoise. I'm not sure is it caused by the undersea cable that they are repairing or what else. But they have promised to finish it before the 1st of Jan, but then why the line is still so slow?

Nowadays, making a police report has become troublesome, like what have faced by Adi and Jenna's BF. Our country is safe?! Shit you. Go to survey and see, is it safe or not?

That's Malaysia. I'm very disappointed with my country, even those politicians are making our country more corrupted. As a citizen, we never think of grabbing anything from anyone else, what we want is a peace country. That's all we need.

This year, no countdown. Just staying by his side until the clock strike 12 and wish each others. But i can see firework just behind my house which is exploded by the resident here.

The first of a new year, wake up in the morning and have biscuits + milo as my breakfast. Then have a late lunch of Ruski's tomyam maggi mee. It's a bored day until i can't stand anymore and ask shuang go jogging. Then have dinner with her at 3rd college and i order a maggi goreng. My brand new day start with biscuits and maggi mee, not bad huh?

The saddest thing is i can't play Playfish games at facebook. Miss my pet society and geo challenge so much. And it's time to format my laptop, cos' lots of problems occur.

One word to describe, BORED.
